Those Damn Great Democrats Part II - Thomas Carper

It's time for the next edition of Meet The Morons! These statements were taken directly from the Senator's website, there are no fabrications here.

It's a virtual hodge-podge of Senators from which to choose, so like last time, I will let my dog pick this edition's candidate. I used pictures this time and she kept going back to lick on the prominent forehead of one picture. After washing her mouth out with bleach, I came to write this post. My first spotlight was shone on Senator Jeff Bingaman (Dumbass-NM) and this edition will expose Senator Thomas Carper (Dumbass-DE), the world record holder for largest forehead. Goodness, doesn't he look like a Q-Tip? "His" homepage is HERE. Don't worry about going there until after you read this. You need to have the right frame of mind to view his lies and distortions. It will also cut down on the time for your searching for his Communist tendencies. Don't thank me, That's My Job. (Hat-Tip: Conway Twitty)

The tally of Democrat Senators: Akaka, Daniel-(D-HI), Baucus, Max-(D-MT), Bayh, Evan-(D-IN), Biden, Joseph-(D-DE), Bingaman, Jeff-(D-NM), Boxer, Barbara-(D-CA), Byrd, Robert-(D-WV), Cantwell, Maria-(D-WA), Carper, Thomas-(D-DE), Clinton, Hillary-(D-NY), Conrad, Kent-(D-ND), Corzine, Jon-(D-NJ), Dayton, Mark-(D-MN), Dodd, Christopher-(D-CT), Dorgan, Byron-(D-ND), Durbin, Richard-(D-IL), Feingold, Russell-(D-WI), Feinstein, Dianne-(D-CA), Harkin, Tom-(D-IA), Inouye, Daniel-(D-HI), Jeffords, James-(I-VT), Johnson, Tim-(D-SD), Kennedy, Edward-(D-MA), Kerry, John-(D-MA), Kohl, Herb-(D-WI), Landrieu, Mary-(D-LA), Lautenberg, Frank-(D-NJ), Leahy, Patrick-(D-VT), Levin, Carl-(D-MI), Lieberman, Joseph-(D-CT), Lincoln, Blanche-(D-AR), Mikulski, Barbara-(D-MD),Murray, Patty-(D-WA), Nelson, Bill-(D-FL),Nelson, Ben-(D-NE), Obama, Barack-(D-IL), Pryor, Mark-(D-AR), Reed, Jack-(D-RI), Reid, Harry-(D-NV), Rockefeller, John-(D-WV), Salazar, Ken-(D-CO), Sarbanes, Paul-(D-MD), Schumer, Charles-(D-NY), Stabenow, Debbie-(D-MI), Wyden, Ron-(D-OR).

After perusing "his" website and reading all the pap which he deemed important enough to publish, I had to go for a ride with the windows rolled down. That always makes the feeling of that impending chip-a-rama fade. Where in the Hell do these people come from? Did the gate break at the lunatic asylum? Sorry, if any lunatics are offended.

Here's what is dealt as truth on "his" website: During his more than 25 years of public service, Tom Carper has sought to build consensus and work across party lines to find practical solutions to real problems. That sounds like it needs to start with, "Once upon a time". It then goes on to explain that he is the Vice-Chair of the Democratic Leadership Council (he is Bill Clinton's bitch).

More of his accomplishments: The first bill he sponsored as a Senator, the "Empowering Parents Act". I didn't read this legislation, but I am assuming from its name, that it means that he wants the government to ALLOW parents to be empowered over their children. Why didn't he just call the act "The Our Collective Mind is Far Superior to Yours and You Will Never Understand This, You Stupid Parents Act"? That would be far more truthful and it might throw up some red flags where needed.

Further evidence of Carper's mad ruling skills are told by the WaPo's David Broder, "Tom Carper is a notably effective and nonpartisan leader, admired and trusted on both sides of the aisle." This means that he strictly toes the Democrat Party line and completely opposes the Winning Party's ideas for our country.

While working tirelessly with those bipartisan folks, Evan Bayh and Jon Corzine (both Democrats), he has produced legislation that intends to increase more redistribution of wealth and offers more free houses to people that don't work. Two programs that are near and dear to the heart of all Socialists. On to part two of this loser.

Tommy-boy was born in Beckley, West Virginia on January 23, 1947 in the heart of Ku Klux Klan country (I wonder if he ever met KKKleagle Robert Ass-Hat Byrd?), and grew up in Danville, Virginia. Before planting his Leftist roots, he was actually a pretty good guy. He attended Ohio State University as a Navy ROTC midshipman, and graduated with a degree in economics in 1968. You must remember that economics programs are pitiful in the majority of colleges. Just ask Tom at Hamster Motor.

Carper completed five years of service as a Naval flight officer, serving in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. He retired as a Captain after eighteen years from the Naval Reserves. Somewhere along the line, he got bitten with the Fascism bug. He also received an MBA from the University of Delaware and then took a job at The Delaware Economic Development Office. I'm guessing that is where his viscous hatred of private industry stems.

Carper's "public service" has included 1976-1982 Delaware State Treasurer, 1982-1992 House of Representatives, 1992-2000 Governor of Delaware, finally making it to the Big Show in 2000 with his election to the United States Senate. Nope, he has NEVER had a job in the private sector. NEVER. He actually touts holding the record for elected state office in Delaware with eleven consecutive elections. Be ashamed people, be very ashamed.

Of the twenty-two bills Carper has sponsored, only five have even been considered. Every bill that he has sponsored that has been sent to committee is staunchly anti-business. List HERE. Liberal? Yep. Want more proof?

HERE is the list of his floor statements. Contained in these are EVERY ONE of the Liberal talking points aimed at combating individualism and Capitalism. Global-warming? Man-made according to Reverend Tom. The Economy? He actually referred to "pulling the plug" immediately after Zell Miller spoke about Terri Schiavo. Nuclear power? He be agin' it, but he's okay with a storage facility in Yucca Mountain. Blah, blah, blah. Remember, these are his OWN DAMN WORDS.

The funniest thing about these floor spewings is that he continually tells of his military service in Southeast Asia. Remind you of anyone? Hmmmmmm?

I am beginning to think that this is too damn easy. Maybe I'll switch to highlighting the stupidity in my own Party. It would have to be more of a challenge than this. I mean, these last two guys are people I have never heard of and the information is on their websites. Paid for by the taxpayers, I might add.
