Subtlety is NOT My Strong Suit

I took a screen shot from the HuffPo video of the 'spitting' incident below and added the appropriate caption.

I think that this pretty much says it all for me. STFU, Congressman VICTIM.

Now THAT'S a GREAT caption!

The sad thing is how victimology has risen so ascendant in America, while a "sense of shame" has completely fallen out of favor.

We seem to need MORE of a personal sense of "shame," and less of our constant whining and wallowing in our perceived victim's status, as though being "a victim" actually earns you something.

JMK, I am old enough to remember when folks were embarrassed to use Food Stamps and tied like Hell not to.

There is no shame on the Left; they have spent a generation expunging it from their "I be victim" DNA.

BTW, JMK, your response to Jihad Janeycakes at Sinistra's Bane (aka, Seane Anna), was 100% gold.

If I accidentally spat on someone I would've apologized straight away. If it was deliberate I wouldn't have.

Any apology seen?

Paul Mitchell said...

Nope, OSO, you are right, dude is a RAAAAACIST!!!

Notice:

1. The congressman walks past and then jerks suddenly from the spit.

2. He confronts the man who did it. The man who did it offers no apology.

3. The two argue. The spitter does not apologise and the congressman does not look as though he gets an apology.

4. The congressman walks up the stairs, visibly wiping the spit from his face.

Conclusion: The dude is a RAAAAAACIST!!!!

If he did spit on the guy, I tend to think it was just bad luck for the black congressman.

If it had been Pelosi, or Hoyer, he'd have spit on them, too. I don't think it's a racist deal even if he did intentionally do it.

OSO misses the point: on the Left, it's ONLY about race, because the Left has nothing of substance to argue; racism is the only card they have left. So how's it feel to be a RACIST, OSO, belonging to the ideology that promotes it?

Perhaps the saddestday to wake up to was the day that i awoke and watched healthcare bill pass...then I awoke a few days later to see that he was selecting 15 new members to his staff without Congressional approval because they were taking too long...then I read about the Tea Party in Reids hometown and how he dismessed it....all in all, thenext four years continue to be a hideous nightmare. I might just change careers and become an embassy worker...they at least remain relatively unaffected by this madness.

...then obviously I awoke and found out that my grammatical structure blows! Sorry about the badly structured first comment.

OSO, the Congressional Black Caucus leaves the building and walks through a hoard of folks that have been literally protesting for a year the ridiculous stuff they are passing. A bill that promotes an ideology that has failed every single place it is tried. Instead of simply walking through the tunnel like they always do. Wonder why?

It was a propaganda device designs to upset as many of their opponents as possible. Plus, they bring with them one of the most hated race-baiters in this country.

STILL NOTHING HAPPENED. Yet, our national media has come unhinged saying there were incidents of racist behavior. Clearly, it did not happen. If you are so stupid as to make this about bad manners, then that is your prerogative. But, even doing that admits that you are wrong on the racism.

The video PROVES it was unintentional.

Andy, the only thing this guy did wrong was to not tar and feather those idiots while he had the chance.

Skunks, OSO is even further into the crazy stuff that the liberals in the US. He readily admits that he is a socialist. He knows what he is promoting and thinks that it is good. At least our Democrats are just too stupid to know better.

SP, your comment was perfect. But, your career with the embassy might be a little difficult to achieve. With the rate that ass-clown in the White House is destroying our relationships around the world, we are not going to have any need for embassies anywhere. And since they are doubling down on stupid economic policy, why would anyone want to come here if there are no jobs to be had at all?

Suburbanite Princess said...

The great thing about embassy requirements are that you don't necessarily have to be selected asa government employee; you can be a highly paid contractor for the government...since our government is diving downhill, being part of the suppossed global solution makes me the "team player"..."Play the fiddle, play the fiddle hard"

SP, that seems somewhat screwed up, but such is the nature of our federal government I guess.

I remember those days too.

When did "shame" become a bad thing?

The incredible surge in Asian-American achievement seems to show, among other things, that "shame" is GOOD!

Thanks SF!

I'm always amazed that leftists almost NEVER make affirmative arguments for their views.

I don't blame them,....I couldn't come up with a single argument in favor of socialism or even just European Keynesianism myself...and since none of them have ever been able to argue with me, I can see where they wouldn't have any chance of making such an argument either.

The entire manufactured "incident" is proof that the Left despises America and Americans.

The fact that Rep. Clyburn hasn't come on a single venue to state those claims and no one has been able to find a single piece of audio or any other evidence that would substantiate the alleged "racial invective" pretty much indicates it's completely bogus.

JMK, shame is not pleasurable to me, but it is certainly a good trait if using food stamps and the like. But, you and I agree completely on it.
