Drive-by Blogging - Teh Google Stuff and Other Crazy Links

Google's Blogger StickerImage by > ange < via Flickr
For all of you that use Blogger, Teh Google keeps getting better and better.  Of course, now that Teh Google is making Blogger into a great thing, I gotta start learning Wordpress.  I just cannot have anything that is nice at all.  In case you want to see what I am doing with Wordpress, you can check out my business blog that is once again on the Webberblorxs.  And while you are over there, check out the BUY MY SHIT LINKS!!!  You needs you a shed, yo!

If'n you are not going to buy the shed book and make me some money, then at least you should look at these bikinis.  NSFAS.  <--Not Safe for After Supper.  I'm warning you!

So, anyhoo, Teh Google is making Blogger better, with backgrounds and stuff.  I had a photo of some dude sitting next to a hole in Bossier City all loaded up as my background and it did not work for this template, so check this out.  If you want the photo, e-mail me and I'll send it to you.  Here's how to add a background photo.

I had a good blog friend e-mail me a link to a Catholic blog that talking about how a Catholic that followed doctrine would be considered a Socialist in the United States today.  I disagreed with that sentiment and I find it incredibly hard to believe that anyone would think that G_d would want someone to be responsible for another if that other person would do nothing to provide for himself.  The first thing that came to mind was Thessalonians.  Then I thought to search for related topics.  There are so many passages in The Bible that lament idleness, there should be no confusion on that.

While I was searching for the topic above, I ran across this lunacy from Anne Rice in my Reader.  John Nolte, the writer of the article, admits that he is still young in his Catholicism and I understand that all too well.  Even though I was born a Catholic, I think that we all struggle occasionally, but there are limits.  Folks, whether you are Catholic or not, right and wrong certainly exist.  For me, I have pared life down to the simplicity of right and wrong.  There are no gray areas in anything that I actually take the time to contemplate.

The Bible that I have become familiar with says NOT ONE THING about taking your hard earned dough and giving to government so they can give it to people that do not work.  Sorry, to argue that the Bible wants us to give money to a bunch of federal bureaucrats to give to idiots just proves that you do not know the Bible.  So, shut up until you read the Bible, mmmmkay?

I am also working on a post about my new Motorola Droid X.  There is so much that this phone does well that I cannot list it all without posting 5000 words on the phone.  Anyhoo, you can send links from Firefox to any Android phone, too.  I do not need that maps thingy because the X is totally tied into my Teh Google account.

Sorry, iPhone users, your phone is obsolete, totally.

Please take the time to comment.

You need to apologize right now for that link to the swimsuits.

We're waiting...

What Basil said. But, thanks for the material. I can use a bunch of those.

BTW, you know that is not me sitting by that hole. If you want some embarrassing ones, I will certainly oblige, though.

Hey man, your business blog looks great! Very impressed. Very.

Basil, what part of Not Safe for After Supper did you NOT understand? I apologize for NOTHING!!! You were warned.

Yeah, I knew that weren't you, that guy looks like he has a waist! Thanks for the compliment on the business blog. Wordpress is NOT the most logical looking way to do things, though.

I once heard the Bible described as "a socialist handbook."

I'm pretty sure the one doing the describing was one of those folks that has never taken the time to actually read the Bible, but has it on good authority that that's the message.

WRONG!

As for Ms. Rice...ya know, I didn't ever get into funky politics as a younger man, but I did read a few of her books. I'm pretty sure that's a deranged mind, and not much she does surprises me.
