Problogger Says We Need a Blog "Voice"

Since I am trying to start producing more professional and legitimate content online, I have been paying more attention to Problogger. There are many posts there to help you with your pro blogging stuff.

This article talks about ways to build your blog VOICE.

The first thing that the post recommends is to choose a word that describes your blog voice.

I say this blog's voice is SARCASTIC. What says y'all?

Please take the time to comment.

I looked it up.

sarcasm (noun):
1: a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain
2: a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual

I read your comments and I immediately think of peaceful pastures, and Handel's Water Music.

The vibe I get is soft, innocent and sweet. Sarcasm? Not a whiff of it!

Dean, that is simply bizarre, I am thinking about peaceful pastures and Handel every time I post.

I was thinking your voice is kinda "gravely." Not like "grave," like "gravel" in a big old truck.

But, sarcastic will do.

When I think of gravely, I think Bob Seger or Bonnie Raitt, I can live with that.

Music by Handel, soft, idyllic, peaceful pasturely scenes. Maybe. Then Mel Brooks stages a campfire scene there, and it's more fitting.
