NMEDA - National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (Promoted Post)

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.

NMEDA I do quite a bit of research on Americans with Disabilities Act requirements and I am always looking for good suppliers for ADA equipment and materials.  I happened across a link to the NMEDA in one of those searches and got distracted for a few minutes looking through their site.

The National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association is a non-profit trade association of mobility equipment dealers, driver rehabilitation specialists, and other professionals dedicated to broadening the opportunities for people with disabilities to drive or be transported in vehicles modified with mobility equipment.

NMEDA has developed standards for regulating their industry and has a pretty strong Quality Assurance Program.  I wish all suppliers would be as diligent.  Product research on the internet is much more efficient for me than talking to a sales rep.

With the ever changing regulations and standards that my profession deals with daily, it is extremely helpful to run across a resource where you can find a detailed breakdown of guidelines for anything.  NMEDA offers a downloadable pdf or a html page listing all of the details for compliance with current regulations, as well as NMEDA suggested guidelines.

There are two member dealerships in Mississippi, both just happen to be in the Jackson area, one in Flowood and one in Jackson.  To find a representative dealership in your area, click NMEDA for the locator page.
