It is December 12th, 2010, Do You Know How Stupid "Progressives" Are?

We hear every single minute of the day that "Diversity" is extremely important. What this actually means is that if you are a "Progressive," you can pretty much say or do anything and all is good. Color of your skin, your ethnic background, whether or not you worship, or if you have committed heinous crimes are all irrelevant, IF YOU ARE A "PROGRESSIVE."

The minute you stop promoting the idiocy of "Progressivism," you are banned.

Of course, the minute you START promoting the idiocy of "Progressivism," you become utterly USELESS to the world in general. You actually become a millstone around the neck of the world.

This morning I received a reply to a comment I made on a You Tube video about "Universal Healthcare" being needed in this country. Of course, the people that BELIEVE IN government run medical services have never understood mathematics, science, medical services, or basically anything under the moon. I have debunked the President's ridiculous numbers so many times that it boggles the mind. AND! I used current numbers and costs for the Medicare Program in Mississippi, a KNOWN quantity. You know, FACTS?

Anyhoo, misinformed moron says:
@architect39042 Admin costs are high in insurance provided care as well, plus did you know company CEOs make from hundreds of thousands to tens of millions in salary and bonuses(depending on the size of the company)? Also Americans pay 1.5 times what everyone else pays for care(and profits aren't the only added cost making private care so expensive) and everyone else has public systems. 45,000 Americans die per/year due to lack of coverage (the only nation where this happens).

My response to that was too tame, so I decided to add to that comment here.

Shall we?

First, the one point five times stupidity. Currently 47% of the country pays ZERO for medical services, so from the jump, they do not count. If you double the number of people paying the costs per person that the WHO Reports cites, which is GOOD MATH, the cost falls BELOW the LOWEST costs for medical services on the planet, but that is beside the point. Also, when you back out the numbers that are added in the WHO Report for research in the United States, which is the only country that WHO adds those numbers for, our costs per person plummet to so FAR below the rest of the world it is unimaginable.

Plus, if you think that for one stinking minute that a private industries overhead is one hundredth of the cost of a government program, you are RIDICULOUSLY insane. Folks, all you have to do to see the stupidity in government is to check the cost of the new visitor's center at the National Capitol Building. Five years late and over one thousand dollars a square foot!!!

Oh, here are the numbers of PRIVATE v. DEADBEAT medical services. Public medical services are only about FOUR TIMES more expensive.

And if you want to study the ideological reasons on why government run medical services are wrong, I kinda wrote about that, too.

Finally, people have cited wildly different statistics for all these people dropping dead from lack of medical insurance. One idiot even commented on one of my posts way back when that at least "in Australia they did not have to step over dead bodies to get into the hospital." Really.

This dude responds another time, and it is even DUMBER:
@architect39042 45,000 die because they don't go for check-ups (because they lack coverage) and wake up in pain one day, go to the doc, and find out they have terminal cancer or something, google it.

"receive FREE medical care that is paid for by taxpayers" so i guess it's not really "FREE" if someone pays for it. Every other nation has "free" care and pay 1/3 less (on average per person). YOU are the one who's misinformed.

So, it is this person's argument that people do not go to the doctor because they do not have medical insurance? Seriously, I have never paid for a doctor's visit IN MY LIFE with insurance. That is beyond stupid to me. Why would you buy "insurance" and use it like a pre-paid medical program? Hey! Let's look into why that is, mmmmkay?

TEDDY DRUNKARD-MURDERING KENNEDY and his stupid HMO ridiculousness back in the 1970s.

You see, it is just like every little thing that is wrong with "Progressive" ideology has been exacerbated and amplified to ELEVEN since my birth. There is not a single topic that our federal government is dealing with today that has not been CAUSED by "Progressive" ideology and worsened exponentially by that same ideology.

Here's the last comment from this imbecile that I could stand:
@architect39042 the point is the 45,000 wouldn't have died if the care was "free" (they would have gone for check-ups if they were covered). I propose to lower medical costs, every other nation pays 2/3 what each American pays for care.

"yet you think that other countries can actually do that?" every other nation IS doing that! The US is the only nation with private care. If America did the same as nations like Germany, Sweden, Canada etc..it would cost every American 33% less.Google the stats.

Notice, their argument is that all of those "Progressive" countries are giving those services away, they are FREE! Yet, doing the very same thing in our country would reduce costs by thirty-three percent (33%).

They have no clue that their entire argument is contradictory in the basic premise. Yet, they also do not realize that RICH PEOPLE in those countries come here to get the very same services that our POOREST people get.

Folks, it is our Constitutional duty to round these idiots up, and put them back into the insane asylums that the "Progressives" closed back in the late 1960s. Which by the way, CAUSED the explosion of homeless people.

Please take the time to comment.

I think you demonstrated remarkable restraint in your dialogue with the moron who thinks "free" medical services are actually "free."

Love the poster!

And those 45,000 who die because they avoid docs until they're in enough pain to die need to die and help cleanse the gene pool.

Did I just say that out loud?

Moogie, as always, this blarq right 'chere is where you can say whatever needs to be said. And we'll probably agree with you.

School cafeteria forks make great posters.

I'm guessing One Salient Oversight was the moron that thought we step over dead bodies. Just a guess.

Since going to work at a hospital I have learned a whole bunch about how this junk goes. I can't call it "eye-opening," because I already knew it. But, I will call any retard like whazzhisname just what he is. Jeez Louise! Life is hard enough without imbeciles owning computers.

And, I don't use the MF word dealie...so thanks for handling Ted for me. And,

Please disregard that last "And,"

Andy, shocker of all shockers, it was NOT OSO, it was a nurse from down under.

I think that OSO is actually in New Zealand, but I cannot be sure on that because I have never paid much attention to where he is because he is not anywhere near anything that can influence the US political atmosphere.

Andy said...

Hmmm...well, I got that one wrong. I'm pretty sure OSO is an Aussie, but he don't come 'round much anymore, so I may never find out.

He could be Tasmanian.

So coming from a land where we have universal "free" healthcare, although certainly mulit-tiered, "first-nation" types/Indians and welfare folks don't pay the taxes to support "free" healthcare, and workers compensation claimants, go to the front of the lineup. What happens to those 45x thousands that "don't die"?

Could someone please paint me a picture of what exactly that looks like?
What exactly is, "don't die" ? ?

I kinda understand what it means to have millions die from heart disease or stroke or cancer, but what is it when they die at 95 years of heart disease? Isn't that "old age"? or maybe people don't die of "old age" anymore.
Just great, that means I have to start saving like, 90% of my earnings for my retirement 'cause I'm gonna live to 120, then die of something or other, probably sex starvation, then it's going to be written on my gravestone, Marc formerly of Calgary, but now of San Antonio, died @ 120 of something that was easily preventable.

Health care is "a good", like brake rotors or bed sheets, if you don't pay for it, it's not yours, and forcing someone else to pay for it, is theft.

Paul Mitchell said...

Marc, it is impossible to have a conversation with someone that thinks that they have a right to something that you earned. The person is STILL trying to debate me, yet simply refuses to read my debunking of the WHO Report.

Oddly, I do hear about some folks that are happy with the Canadian medical system, but they are extremely rare and exceedingly dumb as fuck.

Currently this person is trying to tell ME that I pay more than three percent of MY income for medical services. In case someone doesn't know this about me, I know what the fuck I pay out of my pocket for stuff. That is because I am not an idiot.

Of course, I do not count on an "insurance" policy to pay for doctor's visits for me because to me that is expensive and DUMB.

Just like healthcare is a good or service, medical services MUST be a business, too. Businesses MUST turn a profit or go OUT OF BUSINESS. That is something that a bunch of people do not understand.

One thing that I have always said since this FREE FREE FREE medical services debate started coming up, "I want my doctor to make a shit load more than my garbage man."

That about sums it up for me, even though my garbage man is damned good at what he does.

Yeah, Marc, I always get tickled when I read about the "death rate" in one particular nation or another. People are boobs.

TD, I think you hit the nail on the head. There is NO reasoning with ANYONE that believes someone else should take care of their needs. You can't reason with a leech.

What can I add here? Morons who think Euro-hellthscare is what we should have, are completely overlooking Eurotax rates to pay for the "free" hellthscare, and the all the delays, 'death panels' etc, that go with it.

Further, the higher tax rates needed to pay for the 'free' hellthscare has done what for the Euro-economy? Phfffft. Higher unemployment and more stagnation/flation than we have at present. That's why Frenchies riot at the idea of having to wait until 62 to retire...

Wherever this moron is from -- and I'd be willing to guess it from Califorlornia, or some libtard burg that's already swimming in debt from libtard economics -- they need to take one of Barry's pills and find an ozone hole to go hallucinate in.

With a joker like that I have to quote you: "I'm sorry, I am not stupid enough to understand you."

Since I have a son, usually I can put up with a good amount of stupid. This crosses the line, though.

Marc, you make the best point ever: "Health care is "a good", like brake rotors or bed sheets, if you don't pay for it, it's not yours, and forcing someone else to pay for it, is theft."

Why, why, WHY can't the "progressives" understand this? What's the frakkin' problem?

Idiots.

TD, good job in totally dismantling an idiot. He/she/it may not be intelligent enough to get it, but maybe, just maybe, there's somebody out there that will.

Again, as you pointed out to me last week, only about 5% of the people you run into in everyday life are intelligent enough that they deserve to breathe.

Y'all this person is STILL commenting on that stupid thread. I had to give up last night, it got too stupid for me. And that is saying a bunch, too!
