Drive-By Blogging - The Week in Bad News

Please keep in mind, a crisis makes for bad legislation. The big picture ALWAYS gets ignored. Also know, beyond any doubt, the ONLY way that government can "create jobs" is by making government bigger. The ONLY way to make government bigger is to take the money from the REAL economy to falsely "create jobs."

Yes, there are essential government services, but those services have been eclipsed in the race for government to be everything to everyone.

Dr. Robert Owens has a wonderful post at Pundit Press detailing the growth of government and how our Constitution is increasingly ignored.

What does all this mean? Well, it means that the United States of America would not be recognizable to the dudes that created the ideology that built this country.

And then you have Obamabots in the federal government that tell you spending ONE TRILLION dollars, that accomplished NOTHING, has done what it was designed to do. Can there be a more asinine comment?

Oh, and about those folks looking to buy houses? They do not exist.

Then you roll over and notice that in less than fifty years, one single federal agency, Health and Human Services, spends more than the ENTIRE federal government did in 1964 when I was born. That is amazing to me.

Then, Barry Obama releases his Punchline Budget. His budget proposes spending greater than 10,763.63 for every man, woman, and child in this country. I prefer mine in gold or silver, please.

To put the Obamanomics budget in perspective, you HAVE to look at Jim Hoft's graph on the EXPLOSION of the debt since the Democrats took control of DC. Since Democrats like to refer to themselves as the "Adults in Charge," let's just say that the adults are high on meth.

We should be grateful to Chairman Obama because he whittled out 100 BILLION form his budget. Yes, that is less than three percent (3%).

Dan Mitchell (no relation, sadly) says to fix our budgetary problems, we need to bring back Reagan OR EVEN Bill Clinton! He also has two great videos about abolishing corporate taxes.

THAT'S CRAZY, TWO DOGS!!! CORPORATIONS NOT PAYING TAXES?!?!?! Um, look Sunshine, ANY expense that a business incurs is going to have to be covered by COSTS of their product or service. The corporations DO NOT pay those taxes, their CUSTOMERS do. This means YOU!!!

Ruberry has a round-up of mainstream media outlets on Obama's budget. And it ain't good, neither.

DR Scoundrels has a great interview with Wisconsin Representative Paul Ryan explaining all of the budgetary stuff. Read it.

Small Business tells Congress to nix ObamaCare's 1099 requirement. What I really want to know is WHO put that provision in the legislation and why have they not been beaten to death in a dark alley somewhere?

But, luckily, Senator Harry Reid (Dumbass-NV) has "created 280k jobs" that he originally killed. Seems that is standard Democrat "accomplishment." Destroy something and then rebuild it the exact same way, but spend a shitload of money doing it.

The Reaganite Republican has the Ten Poorest Cities in the United States and tries to make a point about how and why they are that way. I cannot figure out what they have in common.

One of those cities used to make these.

Hawkins is previewing the 2012 elections. My votes; Republican Party's presidential nominee in 2012: Haley Barbour, SECOND CHOICE for the Republican Party's presidential nominee in 2012: Sarah Palin, the without Palin/Christie question did not change my Haley vote, and for DARK Horse, I picked Herman Cain. GET IT?!?!?!

No Sheeples Here has more on the lying Harry Potter on MSNBC. What happened to that little wizard when he stopped doing those movies, did he get hooked on dope or something?

Middle East? Riots and killings, demonstrations, and Muslim uprising going on TODAY in Bahrain, in Tunisia, and Egypt is going to let Iranian warships through the Suez Canal. I am certainly glad that we elected Barry Obama to repair our relationships with those MUSLIM nations.

The whole world needs another Ronald Reagan or Margaret Thatcher.

Now, let me go cower in the corner and suck my thumb.

Please take the time to comment.

Paul, I'm always amazed at how much stuff you're able to pull together in these drive by blogging posts.

I especially enjoyed the RR post on the 10 poorest cities in the US. Who'd a thunk it? These cities are all run by the party that's supposed to be really good at "helping the poor." You'd think maybe they would rethink their approach to these issues. Not.

Dan, if I could figure out a way to automatically write copy for every one of the blogs in my feed, I would just do that.

Dang, y'all write some good stuff. I am forever amazed at it, too.

Yep...Paul does an awesome job here, AND works full time! I'm a freakin' slacker by comparison.

Uh, no, libtards....that admission doesn't mean I'm joining your pathetic ranks.

Skunkfeathers, it is HARD to keep from joining the unemployed ranks of the libtards when the libtards are running things.
