Captain Obvious Reports: Sportswriters Excel at Stupid

From THIS article.

Since it is May now, let's talk about college football!

Most folks knew that tOSU blew goats, but did you know that there is obviously a cottage industry that has sprung up around that act of fellating the Buckeyes? The article linked above actually touts how good the damn quarterback is at OHIO STATE FRIGGIN' UNIVERSITY! He might have had a chance to be competent, but for cryin' out loud, he plays in the Big-10 (11). There is no way to ever be able to tell, because he will never play a decent opponent this year.

Most of you should recall that a mere two years ago, tOSU quarterback, Troy Smith, won the Heisman Trophy, which is given to (alledgedly) the BEST college football player in the Division I-A ranks. Troy Smith got drafted into the National Football League as the very last pick of the fifth round, which means according to the people that rely on making money at football, he was the one hundred seventy fourth (174th) best player in all of Division I-A. According to the people that rely on making money at football, there were exactly one hundred seventy three players more deserving of that award. Sounds like a Nobel, huh?

And not only that, most of you remember that back on January 7, 2008, tOSU got the ever-loving shit beat out of them by Louisiana State University in the Bowl Championship Series Championship Game.

And not only that, most of you remember that back on January 8, 2007, tOSU (and their Heisman winning quarterback, who completed four passes for 35 yards and an int. he didn't do too bad considering that tOSU, the unanimous number one all damn year long, gained a total of 82 yards in the whole damn game) got the ever-loving shit beat out them by Florida in the Bowl Championship Series Championship Game.

Let me wrap this up here because the Number One Ranking for tOSU means that there is a legitimate college football team that is not in the pre-season polling because of tOSU's placement in said rankings.

It's just May, and already the BCS rankings are screwed up.

Please take the time to call your Congressman and attempt to rectify this travesty of justice regarding something that Congress should get involved in. You know, like baseball, boxing, lacrosse, the Olympics,......
