My Friend Brings the Funny

Long timers shall certainly remember my friend, The Wetback, and he sends this in today. I found it oddly disturbing.

The accompanying letter:

Dear Mrs. Jones,

I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer.
I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot.

From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.

Mrs. Smith

Please take the time to comment.

back in the day, one of my friend's kids that had no idea, only that mommy worked at night and came home with "lotsa dollars" used to say, "go make lotsa dollars, mom!"

and that's probably all i should say about that.

LOVE it!!! That is hilarious! It reminds me of when we first moved to MS. We rented a house that had foundation problems and after only a couple months cracks that we didn't know had been patched started appearing. Our son, who had just turned 4, was very disturbed by it and was afraid the house was going to fall on us. One day I took him with me to the grocery store and he was crabbing about it again as we made our way to the entrance. In order to keep him from running around I stuffed him into the seat of a cart. He was unhappy with me for ignoring him so right as we walked through the doors he hollered, "I DON'T WANT TO LIVE IN A CRACK HOUSE!" Everyone at the registered turned to look at us and several people gasped. Kids, gotta love em!

(btw it was the old Jitney Jungle on Spillway Road)

Okay, so lemme get this straight, Christina's "friend" worked nights and Christina's "friend's" kid wanted Mommy to make bunches of money doing her night job.

And Coffee Bean lived in a crackhouse.

Man, the stories you here around this place.

That is so funny! My sister used to embarrass all of us starting when she was about 6 until she was a teenager, she told everyone she wanted to be a stripper when she grew up.
