Ignorance is Bliss

There are all kinds of posts today about the passing of Robert Novak heralding him as a great champion of proper journalism ideology.

I just want to go on record saying that I have never read anything Novak wrote and have never seen him on television. But, I am sorry he is dead.

So there.

Please take the time to comment.

Truly touching.

Srsly, we did a whole month on him in college in one of my writing classes. MSM would do well to study Novak's work.

After reading CJ's comment, I understand why Conkite got all the ink he got, and Novak was a passing blurb amidst Barry's hellthscare travelling snake oil show.

I read Novak from time to time. It was never a waste of time. He struck me as at least being honest, which is a lot more than I can say about many today.

Sorry for getting all weepy, CJ.

Skunks, because most people didn't go to Murray State?

Basil, do you mean that Novak was a better journalist than Cynthia Tucker?
