Blog Props

I have just realized that I have been blogging for three whole years. It doesn't seem that long, why it seems like a minute. Anyway, there were a few bloggers that I started out visiting in the early days that are still around and we still correspond regularly. One of those early friends has just posted their first article on Pajamas Media today. Congratulations, Pam. HERE's her article. That's the bigtime, you know. She started out on Blogger, switched to mu.nu., started posting on Family Security Matters, and now on to Pajamas. Okay, she's not stable, but read her stuff anyway.

Anyhoo, here's the rest of the early friends that I still hang out with, go read their stuff too. I do.

Joe-6-Pack, the professor, but not a nancy-boy type professor. He likes NASCAR. Yeah, that's what I thought, too.

Hamster Motor, a really diverse group of topics and a deep thinker. Strange kid, but funny as Hell.

Oddybobo, a future Supreme Court Justice with a little boy that looks like trouble.

Old Whig, the true uh, I wanta say Libertarian, but that doesn't seem quite right, Constitutionalist, maybe? Just read the damn thing, aiight? No, just read it.

And of course, Basil. Just a good ol' Southern dude that lives his life. And a baseball fan that took Bean and me to a game in Montgomery. Great time. He got sick the next week and wound up in the hospital. I blame Bean.

There are a few others that started out about the same time that I did that no longer post on a regular basis. I still go back from time to time to see if they posted, but usually no. They are on my blogroll and they know who they are, but I'll be damned if I give them another link if they don't ever post anymore. Slackers.

As a fiscal conservative, the spending spree of the past few years is why I think all the congress should be thrown out. Spending should be evaluated from top to bottom and only the things we need should be provided by the federal govt. Wouldn't it be nice if the world thought our dollar was top drawer and the price of oil was only $50.00 a barrel. Or better yet, wouldn't it have been nice if the Feds funded a way to tell the A-rabs to eat their damn oil and we could run our economy on solar, nuclear, hydrogen, combined with conservation/ insulation. Nope, they want votes and are willing to fund anything to get those votes. MUD

Happy blogiversary! Yay! Oh, and he does look like trouble doesn't he? His little bad-ass four year old self told me yesterday "all the girls in my class like me. they all want to be my girlfriend, but I told them 'one at a time ladies, one at a time'."

He got that from my hubby, why do you ask?

Is four too young to start talking about birth control? All we need is some more mixed race babies running around.
