The past few days have been startling on the education front. One of the biggest public education stories in the United States has been the eighteen year old lesbian that ruined the prom for everyone in Itawamba County, Mississippi at Itawamba Agricultural High School in Fulton.
And of course, the ACLU is involved, now.
Let's see if we can wrap our COLLECTIVE brains around this issue for a minute. What is right and what is wrong?
Okay, this is a PROM, folks. It is not a place where sexual activity is supposed to be taking place. Our school teachers are supposed to be imparting knowledge on mathematics, science, and history, NOT SCREWING. Granted, you must understand that sex is certainly going to take place on prom night. However, should a school system actually CONDONE sex between the kids? Of course not.
Was there a way to avoid all this bullshit? Yeppers, the girl that wanted to bring the other girl should have just brought the other girl. No one would have said a word. They could have danced the night away, too. Just like the numerous other girls, that are NOT gay, would have danced the night away with other girls.
Should she be tongue-kissing her "girlfriend" at the prom? NO, and neither should the heterosexual couples be tongue-kissing at the damn prom. But, NO! That simply would not do and we absolutely HAD HAD HAD to have some kind of pissing match over this.
So, rather than fight a huge legal battle for years, all the way to the Supreme Court, the school district just canceled the prom. Smart move. Does it bother anyone else that the homosexual lobby wants to force our public education system into financial ruin? It should bother everyone, INCLUDING homosexuals.
Should the kids that had their prom ruined by one person be pissed at that one person? Yes, normal people should be utterly pissed off that ANYONE would force their opinion on anyone. Such is the damn NATURE of individuality.
I do not give one single shit about what you believe, UNTIL you try to do it on my couch. Then, there is a HUGE problem.
This is called FREEDOM. Say it with me, "FREEDOM." Your individual rights END at the tip of my nose, folks. Does this mean that the majority should force their opinions on everyone? Hells to the naw. Check it, Article 1 Section 8 Clause 17. The District is THE DISTRICT. No vote. Ever, ever, ever. The CONGRESS shall have that power over the District. This sheer violation is NOT only promoted by the totally corrupt Democrat Party, but also by Orrin Hatch, a Republican. Oh, and that moron, Joe Lieberman (Idiot-Conn), too.
Geez, it is like they do not even consider The Constitution to mean anything anymore. Or maybe they just think that they are above the law?
Well, I know that in a SANE SOCIETY, if a wife goes to jail for three years, her husband would probably AT LEAST be under investigation for the same crimes. Sadly, in the swamp that DC has become, that is NOT the case. I do not watch Glenn Beck or Bill O'Reilly. I do not need Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, or even Michelle Malkin to tell me that this is a ridiculously STUPID and ASININE idea. I mean really, there is not a single soul, with an IQ exceeding 45, that thinks banning offshore drilling is a good idea. It is beyond all comprehension why the Democrats would ever remotely think that this is a good idea....unless....their whole plan is to make this country come crashing down in the ash heap of failure.

I Eat Guuuud....
Bopped up to Soulshine to grab a crawfish, Italian sausage, dried tomatoes, and jerked chicken calzone. While waiting, I grabbed a Jackson Free Press to see what lunacy was looking like these days. Standard fare for the JFP. That paper is just garbage. Seriously, the Clarion Ledger is actually borderline NEWS compared to the Free Press. Why would anyone advertise in it or does Ladd just GIVE that space away? Does anyone REALLY read that shit?
My review:
Lemme condense: Donna Ladd stated plainly, "I lived in NYC, I lived in NYC, I lived in NYC, I lived in NYC, I lived in NYC." And then there was a bunch of bullshit. Yes, the writing went DOWNHILL from there.
I wish that it was possible to never eat in a single establishment that advertises in her vainglorious rag, but she obviously puts ads in there for every decent restaurant, even if they pay her or not. Holy Hell, that is depressing.
As long as "Progressive" newspapers are that bad, we NEVER have to worry about morons being anything but "Progressives."

Michelle Obama is an Idiot - Part Two (UPDATED!!!)
I guess that you could call this a vendetta because of my severe dislike of government interference into my life, but seriously, the left is continuing the war, so I shall too.
And I could write five posts a day, every day, talking about how stupid Michelle Obama is, but I won't. There is no need to do it, my philosophical peers have known this since she first opened her mouth about being "proud of her country" when Barry got nominated. Michelle is a weak-willed victim that shall always be around. You cannot get rid of the parasites in any form. There is always another one to battle.
Let's just cover the race angle quickly to get that out of the way. Michelle Obama is black. I got that. Michelle Obama is not the person that most white liberals think about when they think of a black woman, so she is their heroine because she is NOT the typical black woman they think about. Get it?
The black women that I know are nothing like Michelle Obama. True enough, I do know some that are always easy to offend and are the perpetual victim, but they are in the MINORITY. (Get it?) Most of the black women that I know were SURVIVORS of the leftist dogma, they made it out of the cage that was ready made for them by Democrats. Of course, most black women that I know still VOTE for Democrats because they know too many people that are enslaved to the government for their survival. Maybe they do not think of it that way, but that IS what it IS.
Anyhoo, one of my longtime blogger friends, Kathleen McKinley, took poor moronic Dan Rather to task about his Obama/watermelon comment and then went on to take about the movie Precious. This post peaked my obviously overworked offended nature that I am experiencing today and I had to unload.
I have absolutely NO WANT TO to see Precious. I worked government subsidized housing for too damned long in Jackson, Mississippi to return to see the perpetual horror stories from the ghetto. It is painful enough to tear your heart from your chest. The living conditions are brutal, well unless you have just moved into one of the Hurricane Katrina properties that they built in areas with ZERO JOBS TO BE HAD. Of course, the Democrat powers that be are doing everything they can to keep that gravy train rolling, and to hold up creating a single job in the area, too.
And yes, it shall not be long at all until those properties are in the very same shape. You see welfare is a losing, enslaving money pit. The old "teach a man" thing always comes to mind when I contemplate what we have done to the poor in the name of "compassion." And by "we," I mean the racists in the Democrat Party.
Michelle Obama's FAT TOUR OF THE PROJECTS immediately springs to mind. Instead of admitting the death and destruction every government handout program has wrought on blacks and poor people in general, the left doubles down. The quickest way to solve the problem as Democrats see it is to just roll up on the 'Hood and start blasting. The slow slide into extinction is just too painful to watch for me. Why don't they just call out the National Guard to slaughter those people in their homes? It would be quicker and less painless for those families than this agonizing slide into complete and utter slavery.
Kathleen mentioned something about the number of people on welfare and whether or not they were black, white, Hispanic, whatever. This needs to be said.
Blacks make up over thirty percent of welfare rolls, but less than thirteen percent (12.8%-2008) of the population. What this means is that well over HALF of black people are on welfare. Dang, we sure have come a long damn way in my lifetime, huh? Think about it, over HALF of the black population does NOT provide the basic needs for their own lives. This is not saying that blacks are deadbeats, it is not a value judgment at all, but to go from ZERO percent to fifty percent in less than fifty years is somewhat mind-boggling. Where is the end of this?
Obviously the end is nowhere close to this person. She must have been "educated" in public schools otherwise she would have stopped herself before hitting "publish" on this ridiculously stupid comment. She is OFFENDED. Of course, I am OFFENDED because she is so absolutely stupid as to make the comment that statistics do not apply to her. Sorry, honey, no one said that one hundred percent of black folks were on welfare. Half of black folks are NOT. That is kinda what the stats SAY. See if you can figure out which side you are on.
Now, before someone gets all huffy and says "WHITES ARE THE BIGGEST NUMBER OF WELFARE RECIPIENTS!!!" Yes, they are, BUT, whites are nearly eighty percent (79.8%) of the population of the United States. Whites receive only a small percentage of the welfare money in proportion to their relative numbers.
So, who is the MAIN OVERWHELMING welfare recipient? The single black female. This should just be common knowledge. How did we get here? By giving unlimited amounts of money to women that have babies out of wedlock and by removing the morality from our public schools, because young black women are not going to learn the morality at home, when they are growing up on the government dime in the ghetto. Y'all know these things, everyone knows these things. There can be no doubt at all in the least. Why no one says anything perplexes me to death.
As an added GRAY AREA, wonder what the ratio would be if those very same black women were not performing genocide on their offspring? EIGHTY PERCENT? NINETY? Yes, the overwhelming percentage of abortions are performed in inner-city areas. They slaughter those children by the truckload, so actually, the welfare rate is skewed so badly out of proportion that it would take Cato forever to figure out exactly what the rate would be.
I am offended that the Democrats are such hideous human beings that they prey on people that they have kept enslaved since the beginning of our country. I am utterly appalled that the Congressional Black Caucus stands by and passes legislation to continually oppress their own people. I shall never understand it and I shall try to pray for those that ARE victims of the leftist dogma that is killing them.

I have not wanted to look at the news for quite some time because there is such an ideological bent there, that you cannot escape the agitprop. I have been trying to drown it out and ignore it, but that is just not working for me.
I have realized...I am offended. Grotesquely, overwhelmingly OFFENDED.
When I was a young child, I was told in no uncertain terms that I could be whatever I wanted to be. This simply must be true because we currently have a lying simpleton in the White House and people keep saying he is smart. No one could actually believe that because he is a stuttering imbecile and it is so painfully obvious that small children see it.
Then we have an incompetent hack as First Lady, that "voluntarily surrendered" her license to practice law, jet-setting around the country to tell kids to eat their vergetables and exercise, and she is called smart.
We see the unemployment rolls growing larger every single day, more factories closing, the government shutting down drilling property and pushing "green technology" which shall lose more jobs and we are told that the economy is getting better. Honestly, I cannot find a single piece of good news. None.
When the Congressional Budget Office comes out and states plainly that the president is going to produce debt increases in excess of TEN TRILLION DOLLARS, I seriously FREAK THE FUCK OUT.
And you have more than half of our country's population that does not CARE. Great job, Barry and Congress! You see, there are always going to be people that simply do not get it. They have always had whatever their little hearts desired and they assume that the gravy train will roll on forever. Gladly, the gravy train is slowly grinding to a halt. However, there are going to be plenty of folks that still sit on it, thinking that it shall move again. It will not. It's official! Michelle Obama is an idiot.

Is there anyone (past the age of FOUR YEARS OLD) that does not know that in order for you to maintain your health, you must eat properly and exercise? Seriously, you need Michelle Obama to fly down to poor widdle Mississippi to tell you to eat your vegetables? REALLY?

When you have a "news" item that states, "She is Hillary Clinton smart." and does not take the next eighteen pages printing HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, there is a monumental problem, folks.

Just a quick observation.
There is a new bill plodding its way through the Mississippi state house. This bill shall require a prescription to buy over the counter cold medication. No, I have NOT read the bill, NO I am not going to read the bill, YES, it IS a stupid bill.
You see, supply and demand works. In order to create a demand, a product has to first be invented. Once that product is invented and the demand for the new product is established, the demand is the driving force for further supply.
The above statement is not meant to imply that the DEMAND or CONSUMPTION is the driving force of the economy, it is simply stating that once something is invented, it can never be uninvented. The production is ALWAYS the driving force in the economy.
However...
Once the invention or service has been produced for the first time, the demand is what drives the production. PROFIT is the motive for production. The risk of the unknown demand is already satisfied after the demand is determined from the initial production. How long this period lasts is unknown. The risk of producing a product that no one wants is abated. At that point, the only way to end PRODUCTION is reduce or eliminate DEMAND.
Crystal methamphetamine is NOT the only product that is affected by this FACT. Every product is affected by this FACT. Take for instance the Sony Betamax video system. With the battle satisfied between Beta and VHS, the demand for Beta was reduced to the eventual point of zero.
What does this mean? Well, crystal has been invented and it is in demand. The only way to get rid of it is A) invent something BETTER or B) destroy demand. Attacking the production shall never work. The production facility shall just move to a more friendly production area, but continue the SUPPLY, they will. This works the same way with marijuana, pain pills, cocaine, alcohol, CRTs, electro-shock therapy, sharpened sticks as weapons, flint and steel, and the list is as long as the list of everything.
How do you get rid of the crystal demand? Well, the ANSWER is that you make it so painful and hideous to use the drug as to reduce the demand to ZERO. If you have no qualms about what you want to accomplish, then make the steps to accomplish that ends. This ideology works with everything as well. It is working exceedingly well with cigarettes. Oddly, the government tied cigarette taxes to children's health. Seems kinda counter-productive to having healthy children, but what the Hell do I know, I am not a moron that thinks you can raise MORE money by making something more expensive and exponentially reducing demand.
If you want the crystal usage to stop NOW, put to death one person for using crystal. I guarantee that the behavior shall abate immediately. If it doesn't stop completely, execute another. Continue this tactic until usage is ZERO. Granted, this method seems harsh, but making someone go to the doctor to get some Contac seems to be the dumbest thing in the world to me.
As a disclaimer, this law shall never affect me ever. I never use these medications, but I am pretty damn sick of the idiotic laws that the people of lesser intelligence promote trying not to offend anyone and still never accomplishing anything.

They are going to go against everything the electors desire for the sole purpose of keeping the electors in line. Of course, the Left says that "healthcare" is a right. So, we must come to the conclusion that Democrats want everyone to die with the push toward passing government OWNED "healthcare." You know what else Democrats want?
Teenagers and black folks to die first. Every single time the Democrats pass a minimum wage increase, people become unemployed. Every. Single. Time. Without. Fail. What does that tell you? That they HATE children and black folks. Yes, they hate white folks, too, but just not as much as the others.

Michael Moore Obviously Has No Friggin' Clue About Anything
Does this have to even be said? Moore's fictional movies that masquerade as documentaries in the world of mouth-breathers and morons have one common thread, a complete absence of any truth. Most marginally intelligent people know that, but at least 52% of the population of the United States does not.
I actually watched Sicko and debunked most of the movie before the final credits had finished running. It was that sophomoric. Of course, the leftist moonbats loved the movie, because they are stupid.
Anyhoo, Michael Moore took a huge step into MY particular realm of expertise when he suggested that Haiti suffered so much from the earthquake damage because it is a "Republicans' Paradise" with relatively few building codes or standards.
Please ignore the fact that Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere because of its SOCIALIST government (the political system that Michael Moore advocates), we are talking about philosophy. Well, as much as we can when responding to a mental midget like Michael Moore.
I am in the construction/architecture/development business and I am very serious about what I do. The fun part about this is that I do not even NEED building codes because of my ideology. Yes, I follow them, but they are utterly unnecessary for me, because my PRIMARY focus on anything that I design is that my stuff NEVER kills anyone.
Yes, that is my very FIRST task. I don't need the government to tell me how to accomplish that because of the way that I think. As a matter of FACT, building codes do the exact OPPOSITE of what they are intended to do. They REDUCE the quality of buildings for people that are normally very meticulous in all of their actions. Because of the existence of building codes, designers do ONLY what they have to do to meet code instead of designing a building that is exceedingly AWESOME!
For instance, instead of placing fire extinguishers in logical places that normal people would look, we have to make sure to space them seventy-five feet from any place in the building. Instead of gauging human reactions to an emergency and placing things where they make the most sense, we have to go on an arbitrary distance set by the government and that actually endangers people because THEY (the people faced with an emergency) do not know the building code. Those normal people simply react like normal people.
For anyone to give Michael Moore a forum to spout this asinine stupidity should be criminal. Of course, in a sane and just world, Keith Olbermann would not be allowed to screech his asinine stupidity, either. This is NOT censorship at all. Blatant lying that endangers individuals is NOT protected speech.
Of course, if that was the case, we would have to lock up the President of the United States, too. Like that is ever going to happen.

Ideology and the Causes of Failure
I am forever amazed at seemingly intelligent folks that embrace wrong ideology and others that fall into lockstep with that seemingly intelligent person. We have come to the point of actually thinking that education is the key to smartiness, but there must be something ingrained before that education is beneficial.
In the last couple of days, I have been insulted for my "lack of intelligence." I was called a "redneck," a "troglodyte," and a "rube." That is fine, but the person that was insulting me offered very little to back the point that they were not a drooling idiot. Such is generally the case when dealing with people that think adding letters behind their name MAKES them smart.
Quickly, I have a college degree. Of course, I did not go to college until after I realized that there are people that DO worship the letters behind the names. It seems silly to me to be like that, but what the Hell did I know, I did not have those letters behind my name. While in college, my initial thoughts were solidified. The professors were some of the dumbest human beings that I had ever encountered. Their entire life experience was in SCHOOL with absolutely ZERO actual ACTION.
"OH! You have a PhD in education? Awesome, I would like a no foam latte with three sugars. Sorry, but I am in a bit of a hurry, I am going to be late for my shift at the mustard bottle factory."
We are rapidly becoming a nation of mindless people with advanced degrees in NOTHING and possessing such little true knowledge that most do not have the good sense that G_d gave a goat.
Here's a stellar example from one of my daily reads' comments section:
Side note: If that commenting Einstein would play his "the people cuts will make us rich!" scenario to the end, he/she/goat would realize if firing people made more money, then we would make the most money by firing everyone! We would have to build another bank to hold all the money!
Shorter/Longer comment. Government does NOTHING to improve anything. Everything that our government is currently undertaking accomplishes the exact OPPOSITE of what is intended. Produce any problem and government exacerbates that problem. Homeless people? Building free houses does nothing to alleviate the problem of why that person became homeless. Starving people? Government does nothing to remove the cause of the hunger. The one thing that government CAN accomplish is destruction.
Government can take tax dollars and create the most hideous weapon imaginable. They accomplish that task very well, because that is the purpose of government, to destroy stuff. Why most people cannot come to the realization that war is the only thing that government does well ignores the basic reason that governments are formed. They organize AGAINST other governments. True, it would be nice to assume that government can accomplish the establishment of a level playing field for individuals, but that has been proven over and over again to never be the case.
Yes, there exist people that will never be able to achieve the success level of other folks. That is just a terrible fact of life, but that does not reduce the "lower" folks to the rubble heap, it actually elevates them to a point of importance. Trash left rotting in the streets has a profound effect on the health of the population at large. When everyone has a college degree, who is going to pick up the trash? Well shit, all of us educated folks will just die because we are so smart, huh? The trash collector is just as important to society as the brain surgeon, folks.
Instead of placing the responsibility for your very life in the hands of others (government), why not take that responsibility for your own damn self? Such is the difference between "Progressive" ideology and normal people. "Progressives" FEEL that they should ignore their own responsibilities and tend to OTHER PEOPLE'S BUSINESS. Normal people actually contemplate things and adhere to the philosophy of "live and let live." Therein lies the difference.
"Beat up a banker!" Yes, that sounds really smart, huh? The bankers are the total problem for those progs.

Finally, the Smartest President in History admits that his goal is government takeover of "healthcare." Remember, everything government does is geared toward destruction.

A true unemployment level that rises while government controlled media says that it is stable. Oh, about that pesky First Amendment, ignore that shit.
When even the folks vehemently opposed to individual liberty and freedom are finally admitting that those ARE good ideas, maybe the GOVERNMENT should start listening.
For a quick look at the "education" of an opposing ideology, check out the Socialist Party protesters at the University of Washington. I will bet ten dollars to a day old donut that these folks are currently enrolled in the Masters program at the College of Education. This protest is probably their thesis project, too.
An "educated" man, Joe Conason, actually says that recent earthquake deaths were caused by the Tea Parties.
When Charlie Rangel resigned his post as Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, the Democrats appointed Moonbat Pete Stark. Moron Pete lasted ONE WHOLE DAY. I cannot figure out why, though. I mean, Senator Robert Byrd (Dumbass-WV) is still in office and he is a Klan member. So hating black folks is okay, but being insane is not? Where's the logic?
A milquetoast Republican is actually taking steps to remove some of the reasons for stupidity in the "Progressive" movement by requiring teachers to be checked out for PERFORMANCE. Shocker. The fact that this policy is NOT in effect everywhere simply solidifies the evidence of failure on the part of government. They cannot even get rid of terrible teachers.

A Rambling Nothing Post - Do NOT! Read This!
I have been thinking a bunch about why I write these linkfests daily and I never really have come to any conclusion. I would like to think that the ability to look back and watch things as they unfold, those things that interest me, are important to me, but half of the stuff that I post, I forget. I really have no reason other than spur of the moment, something strikes me as weird or something.
I really do not post that much about what is going on in my life, but sometimes I really need to and kinda chunk the sarcasm in that maybe masks the anger that has a tendency to roil just below the skin. Yes, daily news is infuriating. But, it solidifies my personal life's timeline and I can put things in their proper place, because if you have not noticed, I am extremely OCD about everything being in its proper place.
I take a harsh look at myself every day and I find that there are so many things that I do that would drive normal people nuts that it is unimaginable. But, those things that make others batshit crazy, usually are my security blankets. HOLY SHIT! Do NOT move that sugar jar!!!
I first started this blog to kinda have an outlet for the misery that I was dealing with after the loss of my wife. I tried to put on a happy face and link to stuff that made me laugh and kinda took my mind off of things. That helped me trudge forward. And I drank a damn bunch. Good Lord, I drank.
Then things kinda got to the point where I could breathe again without feeling the emptiness and longing inside when I was not drunk. Life moves on to a certain extent, albeit without a huge chunk of your soul. That hole gradually got refilled and I could grin and bear things without the anesthesia. Yeah, it hurt, but again, life moves on.
A long-term relationship ensued that really was not meant to be and there were many trials and tribulations during which I kinda pushed my thoughts and desires aside for what I saw in my future. Again, life kept moving, while I idled and waited.
In October 2007, I threw a temper tantrum like a seven year old, quit my job, threw my hands in the air and retreated for introspection and goal planning, maybe trying to clear the cobwebs of complacency that had been circling overhead like a vulture. Do not get me wrong, quitting that job was the right thing to do, maybe I could have handled it better, but fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu........................
Dang, has it really been five years that I have been posting here?
Anyhoo, at that time, the Democrats had taken Congress and I knew my industry was doomed because they are so ultimately anti-business and anti-human, then, later, to add insult to injury, Barry Obama was elected to complete the perfect storm of the Oncoming Supergreat Depression. No, no one is going to get rich anytime soon, so again, we just wait. Good Lord, please let some intelligence return to this country and let us have a friggin' test to vote, mmmmkay?
Early last year, I reconnected with someone that I knew long ago and that connection made me realize that I was still just sitting around. Wake up, drink coffee, work a bit, read the news, drink coffee, eat, go to sleep. Mundane daily life, then brief intermittent moments of joy that would never last. I realized during this time that if you truly care for someone, their happiness is what should matter the most to you. Even if their ultimate happiness doesn't involve you. When the caring is real, your end result is not important. That's cool, the emotional attachment will always last with everyone that has touched me in my life. I hold on to those things, never to let go. Yes, I guess to a certain extent I still have something for the mother of my squid. ROT. HER. SOUL.
I actually asked this friend a series of questions that left no doubt about what my path of action needed to be, so still again, life moves on. I have learned that to dwell on painful events does no one any good. Rip the Band-Aid off and get moving.
So, here it is in a nutshell. I am sick of sitting around and waiting on things to become perfect for my plans. I am at the point where there is absolutely nothing to lose with any move that I make. Does that make me less or more dangerous?
You would think, that the way that I rant and rave, that I would be very aggressive in business, but the inverse of that is true. I rarely chase work unless it is with my actual friends that I can guilt into paying me money for doing little tasks that they could actually perform much better than I can, and for less dust.
So, we arrive at a crossroads. The Democrats have ruined the possibility of anyone making a successful effort of running a small business and the possibility of my industry returning to profitability any time soon, without doing government work, is literally zero. Yet, I am cool with it. For some unknown reason, I have never felt a single trace of panic in my life. It could be because of me being a sociopath, but probably not.
The very last thing that left me cemented in place was the boy/turd. At this point, I do believe that he has made it through the hardest part of the beginning of his life and for that I am grateful. So, I am completely unencumbered in this place. The world is my playground and I intend to get dirty on it.
Yeah, there are frightening things about just stepping out of the complacency of the known, but there is much to be said of jumping into things with both feet and trying like a dog to make circumstances work out the way that you want them.
Oh, and guess what? I am going to blog the crap out of this journey so y'all can live vicariously through my insanity. Buckle up, Gertrude, this ride might get a little wild. OR NOT.

Another Day, Another Democrat Caused Economic Calamity
When I read the news, I get no relief. I have tried consistently to NOT do it, but alas, I always fail. I have to know what is happening. It is a weakness, I guess, but I have to be informed. Unlike at least 52% of the country, I care what happens today and in the future because I enjoy life and want to know the direction that things are heading.
The sad thing is that the ONLY good news you can find are the individual acts of kindness that you see, hear, and read about. People are amazing for the most part and I thoroughly believe that most folks genuinely care about other folks. Oddly, I do not think that most government officials or political pundits DO care about other people.
Witness this exchange between Bill Maher and the propped up corpse of Larry King....
Does the lunacy that Maher spews piss you off no end? It should. Despite the fact that Bill is "American," he still thinks that "Americans" are stupid. I agree with his assessment, anyone that considers themselves to be "American" is stupid. I am thinking that he is referring to citizens of the United States. Our whole country was predicated on the "Melting Pot" theory. "American" is a term that could mean virtually anything. There is a North America, Central America, and South America. So, where does this mysterious "American" reside? Yes, I know that he means 'a citizen of the United States,' but you would think that if Bill Maher considers himself to be a smart dude, he would make this distinction. No, he does not.
And do NOT get me started on how fucking stupid Larry King is. The few interviews that I have seen him perform were such painful displays of stupidity, it was like watching a trainwreck over and over again, in slow motion. Please, put this dude out of my misery. Hell, put the whole damn network out of my misery. Does anyone even turn on CNN anymore?
Then comes the continued coverage and mash-ups of Obama's "Healthcare" trainwreck last week. There could not have been a single soul that thought anything would have come from this bullshit, but still everyone covered it. If you saw the clips on the Barrystream Media, you thought that the President did a stellar job. If you did not watch the whole thing, you missed the REAL THING. Stuttering Barry really delivered the FAIL.
Bill Maher and his ideological brethren think that this president is a smart guy. The truth is that he is a stuttering imbecile that has no new ideas under the moon. Barry Obama is the typical big government hack that thinks "Americans" are stupid. If you take even a quick look at the way things are going, you will shit your pants at the idiocy coming from this administration. There is no other conclusion to which you can arrive. DC is populated with morons.
The agitprop coming from the federal government and promoted by the national media should give you pause. You consistently hear that the economy is in a recovery, but look around you, use your owns eyes. Do YOU see it? Of course not, because it is NOT happening. Even the national media occasionally screws up and prints an article that admits things are getting worse. Come on, you know things are not moving in the proper direction.
This CANNOT be pointed out enough. If someone was even marginally interested in keeping tabs of actual accomplishments, this would be screamed loudly from all the rooftops at all times.
The latest thing that you will hear repeated over and over again is about the growth of the economy in the last quarter of 2009. Everyone is going to be bringing it up again and again. Only one little problem, it is a fake story. If anyone actually took the time to understand what really happened, they would realize that the only growth was in inventory. This is doubly concerning with all major manufacturers fleeing this country in droves. These are jobs that shall never return. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news consistently, but you have to be aware of what happens when Democrats are in control. As Basil's link above points out, the two years where the Democrats took JUST THE SENATE away, the unemployment LURCHED upward.
That was just with Democrats controlling the Senate. You see, the Democrat Party has one goal and that is just to have the power. They do not care anything about making everyone wealthy. They care only for making more and more people wards of the state and to confuse the debate into something that makes you look like a heartless and cruel meany if you do not want the POOR to have all your money.
That brings us to the point of their entire political philosophy, GUILT. They continually use the word, "SACRIFICE" and try to guilt you into giving up everything that you value and find to be important.
Let's hit on that for a moment. Sacrifice means the SURRENDER of something of value for something of NO VALUE. It is NOT a sacrifice to give your life for your country, IF your country has value. It is NOT a sacrifice to deny yourself food to feed your own child. It IS a sacrifice to deny your child food to feed an utter stranger that you loathe.
This flies directly in the face of ALL Biblical teaching, even if there is the teaching of sacrifice. In Old Testament teaching, you offer up your goat to G_d in the hope of pleasing G_d. That is NOT a sacrifice the way that it is taught today. In today's meaning, a sacrifice would be to offer your goat in sacrifice for NO reason at all. In other words, the perversion of language has led us directly to ignoring the true meaning behind the term.
Does it help anyone to hire a man that is ultimately unqualified for any position just because he NEEDS it? Of course not, but that is exactly what the current philosophy is promoting. No one is helped at all by this mentality. It is contrary to everything that human nature teaches us and it is the main reason why liberalism and "Progressivism" is destined to fail every time it is tried.
The left teaches you that the only true and just thing that you can do is to give up everything that is valuable and accept only things that are worthless. When you value your intelligence, your morality, and your salvation, you simply must reject ALL FORMS of leftist dogma. You must reject it.
Not only that, but most of the leftist dogma contradicts the very leftist dogma. Remember, the vast majority of leftists believe in the Theory of Natural Selection. They promote the "Survival of the Fittest" mentality, yet tell you that the most fit must be destroyed and we must make all efforts to maintain the least fit. Global warming is happening, which is evolution to them, yet we must save the polar bears, which cannot withstand evolution. Geez, do they even read what they are writing? Does it strike anyone as odd that their very philosophy contradicts the methods that they choose to promote? Of course it doesn't, because most folks do not really take the time to contemplate the meanings of what the left teaches, either because it is just too silly or they assume that there are no people as evil as that. I am here telling you that those people certainly exist and they are running the show.
Do you continually find it really odd that there are many major news outlets aligned against your ideology? It shouldn't because you are trying to do the best for your family and those that you care about. They are trying to get you to SACRIFICE (in their definition) that which you find important to give value to things that have no value. It goes against everything that you know to be right. Does it shock you that you see huge organizations telling you that you are filled with hate and loathing for your fellow man when all you want is everyone to be successful? There is a great portion of the human population that hates HUMANS.
Make no mistake, there is an ideological battle raging right now, AS IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN. Since the beginning of time, this has been the case and those of us that have ALWAYS been on the right side of things are always going to be in the minority. Ours is the most difficult way of life.
Please keep telling yourself that NOTHING of value ever comes easily. If it does, then we were wrong in placing value on it. You get what you pay for, folks. Well, unless it comes from DC, then it is simply throwing money in a pit for no purpose other than giving something of value for something of no value.
This fits quite nicely into today's Homily. In order for one to learn to find value in something, they must first take the time to investigate what they think that they want to value. This is a very simple concept, but most of us do not invest the time in anything to make it valuable. You get what you pay for, folks.
Just like there is a concerted effort to make Senator Jim Bunning of Kentucky into some bad guy over his holdout to pass the extension of unemployment benefits. No one is pointing out that Bunning is trying to FORCE the Democrats (and some Republicans) to follow the rules that they JUST PASSED (and Obama signed on February 12th) with Pay-Go. You know, this would not be that big a deal had not the national media made such a HUGE deal about Barry Obama pushing this in his new move toward fiscal responsibility. Instead of simply telling the truth, that Obama never wanted to actually do this, Obama's acolytes are now making Bunning out to be the bad guy. Kinda sickening, huh? Democrats LIE. Every time they speak. Odd how the Democrats keep saying that someone needs to make the tough choices and the minute that someone does, the Democrats immediately attempt to crucify him.
And as a final segue into the past reporting on the Tea Parties and how those folks, that want nothing more than responsible government, were utterly vilified by the media. But, now that the left is trying to co-opt that very concept, we shall see some very different reporting, huh? The contrast here is that the Tea Party folks are "Americans" that are truly concerned about the direction the country is heading. You know, like everyone losing their jobs and government spending exploding by FOUR TIMES last year. The Coffee Parties? Well, they are all for promoting the ideology of leftist politicians, not anything about fiscal responsibility or personal action. Just more about BIG GOVERNMENT and financed by all of those SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS on the left.

If you take even a quick look at the way things are going, you will shit your pants at the idiocy coming from this administration. There is no other conclusion to which you can arrive. DC is populated with morons.
The agitprop coming from the federal government and promoted by the national media should give you pause. You consistently hear that the economy is in a recovery, but look around you, use your owns eyes. Do YOU see it? Of course not, because it is NOT happening. Even the national media occasionally screws up and prints an article that admits things are getting worse. Come on, you know things are not moving in the proper direction.
This CANNOT be pointed out enough. If someone was even marginally interested in keeping tabs of actual accomplishments, this would be screamed loudly from all the rooftops at all times.
The latest thing that you will hear repeated over and over again is about the growth of the economy in the last quarter of 2009. Everyone is going to be bringing it up again and again. Only one little problem, it is a fake story. If anyone actually took the time to understand what really happened, they would realize that the only growth was in inventory. This is doubly concerning with all major manufacturers fleeing this country in droves. These are jobs that shall never return. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news consistently, but you have to be aware of what happens when Democrats are in control. As Basil's link above points out, the two years where the Democrats took JUST THE SENATE away, the unemployment LURCHED upward.
That was just with Democrats controlling the Senate. You see, the Democrat Party has one goal and that is just to have the power. They do not care anything about making everyone wealthy. They care only for making more and more people wards of the state and to confuse the debate into something that makes you look like a heartless and cruel meany if you do not want the POOR to have all your money.
That brings us to the point of their entire political philosophy, GUILT. They continually use the word, "SACRIFICE" and try to guilt you into giving up everything that you value and find to be important.
Let's hit on that for a moment. Sacrifice means the SURRENDER of something of value for something of NO VALUE. It is NOT a sacrifice to give your life for your country, IF your country has value. It is NOT a sacrifice to deny yourself food to feed your own child. It IS a sacrifice to deny your child food to feed an utter stranger that you loathe.
This flies directly in the face of ALL Biblical teaching, even if there is the teaching of sacrifice. In Old Testament teaching, you offer up your goat to G_d in the hope of pleasing G_d. That is NOT a sacrifice the way that it is taught today. In today's meaning, a sacrifice would be to offer your goat in sacrifice for NO reason at all. In other words, the perversion of language has led us directly to ignoring the true meaning behind the term.
Does it help anyone to hire a man that is ultimately unqualified for any position just because he NEEDS it? Of course not, but that is exactly what the current philosophy is promoting. No one is helped at all by this mentality. It is contrary to everything that human nature teaches us and it is the main reason why liberalism and "Progressivism" is destined to fail every time it is tried.
The left teaches you that the only true and just thing that you can do is to give up everything that is valuable and accept only things that are worthless. When you value your intelligence, your morality, and your salvation, you simply must reject ALL FORMS of leftist dogma. You must reject it.
Not only that, but most of the leftist dogma contradicts the very leftist dogma. Remember, the vast majority of leftists believe in the Theory of Natural Selection. They promote the "Survival of the Fittest" mentality, yet tell you that the most fit must be destroyed and we must make all efforts to maintain the least fit. Global warming is happening, which is evolution to them, yet we must save the polar bears, which cannot withstand evolution. Geez, do they even read what they are writing? Does it strike anyone as odd that their very philosophy contradicts the methods that they choose to promote? Of course it doesn't, because most folks do not really take the time to contemplate the meanings of what the left teaches, either because it is just too silly or they assume that there are no people as evil as that. I am here telling you that those people certainly exist and they are running the show.
Do you continually find it really odd that there are many major news outlets aligned against your ideology? It shouldn't because you are trying to do the best for your family and those that you care about. They are trying to get you to SACRIFICE (in their definition) that which you find important to give value to things that have no value. It goes against everything that you know to be right. Does it shock you that you see huge organizations telling you that you are filled with hate and loathing for your fellow man when all you want is everyone to be successful? There is a great portion of the human population that hates HUMANS.
Make no mistake, there is an ideological battle raging right now, AS IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN. Since the beginning of time, this has been the case and those of us that have ALWAYS been on the right side of things are always going to be in the minority. Ours is the most difficult way of life.
Please keep telling yourself that NOTHING of value ever comes easily. If it does, then we were wrong in placing value on it. You get what you pay for, folks. Well, unless it comes from DC, then it is simply throwing money in a pit for no purpose other than giving something of value for something of no value.
This fits quite nicely into today's Homily. In order for one to learn to find value in something, they must first take the time to investigate what they think that they want to value. This is a very simple concept, but most of us do not invest the time in anything to make it valuable. You get what you pay for, folks.
Just like there is a concerted effort to make Senator Jim Bunning of Kentucky into some bad guy over his holdout to pass the extension of unemployment benefits. No one is pointing out that Bunning is trying to FORCE the Democrats (and some Republicans) to follow the rules that they JUST PASSED (and Obama signed on February 12th) with Pay-Go. You know, this would not be that big a deal had not the national media made such a HUGE deal about Barry Obama pushing this in his new move toward fiscal responsibility. Instead of simply telling the truth, that Obama never wanted to actually do this, Obama's acolytes are now making Bunning out to be the bad guy. Kinda sickening, huh? Democrats LIE. Every time they speak. Odd how the Democrats keep saying that someone needs to make the tough choices and the minute that someone does, the Democrats immediately attempt to crucify him.
And as a final segue into the past reporting on the Tea Parties and how those folks, that want nothing more than responsible government, were utterly vilified by the media. But, now that the left is trying to co-opt that very concept, we shall see some very different reporting, huh? The contrast here is that the Tea Party folks are "Americans" that are truly concerned about the direction the country is heading. You know, like everyone losing their jobs and government spending exploding by FOUR TIMES last year. The Coffee Parties? Well, they are all for promoting the ideology of leftist politicians, not anything about fiscal responsibility or personal action. Just more about BIG GOVERNMENT and financed by all of those SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS on the left.

Can the Left please explain why they object to this?
When you attempt to understand the wrongheadedness of the leftist ideology, you simply must play things out to the ultimate goal.
Examples: Smaller class size equals better grades. Since everyone must admit that we have steadily been moving to ever decreasing class size and grades are FALLING, most normal people would either say there must be no correlation, or if there is, it is actually that the smaller the class, the worse the grades. But, idiots keep calling for ever decreasing class size. Doesn't it seem that the ultimate goal, if you believed the ridiculous THEORY, that 1-1 ratio, teacher to student would be the ultimate goal? Then close ALL schools and let parents pay for each kid to get an education. PROBLEM SOLVED.
Anthropomorphic Global Warming is killing us all. If global warming is even factual, and judging by the cooked data it appears that it isn't, doesn't it seem that if you kill ALL humans, the problem will be solved? This is the end result of leftist "science." PROBLEM SOLVED.
Eeeek! Our kids from poor families are not eating right and are getting too PORTLY. We should jet around the country and tell the parents the benefits of eating healthy foods. I have a better idea that ties in nicely with number two. Cut off FOOD STAMPS, then the poor kids cannot eat too much and they might lose weight or better yet, to a leftie, they might DIE! PROBLEM SOLVED.
Government spending improves the economy. Since the economy RETRACTS every time the government spends more money, doesn't it seem that the left WANTS everyone to be poor? Why not just confiscate all wealth on Earth, then everyone will be better off. Of course, this ties nicely with conundrum number two. PROBLEM SOLVED.
Senator Bunning (R-KY) is holding up an extension of unemployment benefits and COBRA funding. Since MORONS want the government to handle all medical services and for the government to employ everyone, and finally for all humans to die, doesn't this move play right into their hands? Yet, CBS calls it a "Congressional Quagmire."
You see, what passes for thought on the left is really just a patchwork quilt of attacking a small portion of a real problem. The big picture is NEVER apparent to the morons on the left.
Instead of a single clearly defined goal, the left has to go apeshit crazy on little items and address only those little items one at a time. The bigger picture is never considered because they cannot think past lunchtime.
Oh, we have a poor people problem, let's take money from people that earned it and give it to the poor people. Then, they are just astonished that the number of poor people keeps increasing and workers keep disappearing.
Hey, let's give money to single women that have kids, to help those women out. Then they are dumbfounded when single women keep having kids and the number of these women and kids keeps increasing. And then we have to start giving food stamps to these women to feed those illegitimate kids and the kids wind up fat.
Folks, if you keep addressing problems in this manner without ever looking down the road a bit, nothing shall ever change. But, I do find it odd that the lefties are pissed at Bunning, when he is basically offering to solve all of the problems that the left sees.

A Quick Linkdump of Important Stuff
Since I lost the whole day yesterday, I had about 1000 posts to peruse last night and this morning. Hopefully, things shall return to normal after tomorrow. Then again, HOPE is dead.
Obama signs the extension of the Patriot Act. Wonder why he signed it on a Saturday? Is that to keep everyone from knowing that Obama was wrong on everything he said and he now realizes that he wants to be as smart as George Bush? If that is his goal, maybe he ought to lay off the booze and start reading more, but that is hard for a leftie because they are so stupid.
The Democrats continue to be fiscally stupid. Now there is a shocking revelation, huh?
Nancy Pelosi (Dumbass-Uranus) says that she has much in common with the Tea Parties. Does that mean that she hates Democrat stupidity or is that she started eating food like Tea Partiers, instead of eating her own waste like she used to do?
When a government agency is a tee-total failure, Democrats must throw ever increasing amounts of money at it. Like Fannie Mae. This is a super great idea, yo.
I have no clue how this is even perceived. The fact that Paul Krugman is not in an insane asylum dumbfounds me no end.
If there is actually someone that believes that the United States medical system is only slightly better than Cuba's, there is a monumental problem. The next ridiculous thing that you hear will be that Costa Rica's medical system is better than ours in the United States. Oh, wait.....
There should not be anyone in the world that doesn't know that Democrats destroy the economy. Basil publishes a really easy to understand graphic showing the correlation between Democrat control of the Senate and unemployment. If you cannot understand the graphic, you are a Democrat.

When Joe FREAKING Biden saw that tax receipts were plummeting, he immediately called for more government spending. I thought that it was impossible to find someone dumber than Barry Obama, but I was wrong.
Even Al Gore is not as stupid as Joe, but he is very, very close.
I dunno why this surprises anyone, because the mentality on the left is always the same. Comparison between ACORN and the Klan, both mainstream Democrat groups.
One of my blogger friends commented that Obama was STELLAR in his "healthcare summit" performance. No one agrees with that opinion. Not even Obama.

Flat-Out Blog Pimping!!! Jackson, Mississippi Edition
I have no clue if this shall help or hurt Kingfish, but here goes anyway.
I just got off the phone with a local blogger that helped me out with a pressing issue. Kingfish of Jackson Jambalaya fame responded to an e-mail I sent with more information that I could possibly use in a lifetime.
Since I started blogging way back in the 1950s, I have met two bloggers. Both were the bees knees.
The first was Basil of Basil's Blog. He took me to a baseball game, bought all kinds of stuff for me and my date, and was a flat-out nice guy. Great company, the perfect gentleman. Great blogger.
Now, I can say that I have spoken to Kingfish, one of the most knowledgeable folks about the Jackson political clusterf**k and the legal wranglings going on around these parts. Dude, this guy is a wealth of information.
If you live in the Jackson area, check out Kingfish's blog for all the information that you could possibly use.
But, if you actually find a JFP or a Clarion Ledger and start reading and enjoying it, you are too stupid to exist. Go die in a fire while drowning, moron.
